ServerView Operations Manager installation script for RedHat Linux / SuSE Linux 1. New Installation for a new installation the following methods are possible - installation with script - installation with YAST - installation with YUM 2. Upgrades An Upgrade to 4.71 or higher is possible only from 4.70-08; the installation script must be used. An Upgrade from V4.71 to a higher version can be done also with YAST and YUM. Warning: Using YAST or YUM for an upgrade from 4.70-08 may result in a defect ServerView Operations Manager. 3. Installation without ServerView media An installation of Serverview Operations Manager can als be done by - downwloading the software from the FSC Web-Server as ZIP-File |
